— EVP of Sales
Chris Burleson
is Aztec's Executive Vice President of Sales where he is responsible for enterprise-wide
sales strategy and execution. Chris joined the Aztec team as a result of the Aztec-ProData
merger. Prior to Aztec Chris founded ProData in 1981, and served as President and
Director of Sales. Chris is frequently asked to provide insight into the areas of
accounting software, business automation, business partnering, eBusiness, and the
accounting software industry. Due to his experience in the software industry, he
has become a noted expert on accounting solutions for mid-sized organizations with
particular emphasis in supply chain.
Prior to founding ProData, Chris was the Director of Sales for the Oklahoma-based
software firm R.F. Jenkins & Associates and helped develop the firm's COBOL-based
mini-computer product for the distribution and service industry. Before joining
R.F. Jenkins & Associates, Chris was a District Sales Manager for NCR Corporation
and headed up numerous management positions to include Major Retail Accounts for
the State of Oklahoma, Strategic Corporate Mainframe Accounts, and the Medical Education
and Government Sales Division.
Most notable of Chris's sales and consulting experience is his tremendous market
knowledge of having been involved in over 1,000 ERP implementations over 34 years
of various sizes, ranging for small, 5-to-10 users systems up through an extensive
background in large enterprise, mainframe based installations.
Chris holds a B.S. degree from the University of Oklahoma with Majors in Marketing
& Finance and Minors in Management and Economics. He was previous president of the
Delta Tau Delta Housing Corporation and is a member of the University of Oklahoma
Business School Alumni Association.
